drying room, amazing mountain views, excellent hiking access
I felt the interior could use a fresher paint job!!! The lounge, while modern, had minimal seating options that made relaxing less comfortable for larger groups!!!

The warm welcome from the hosts set a positive tone for our stay. The breakfast was particularly impressive, with generous portions, including a delightful spinach, cheese, and tomato omelette. The location offered breathtaking mountain views and easy access to hiking routes, which enhanced our experience immensely. We appreciated the drying room for our wet clothes after hiking, though it was slightly inconvenient that we needed to carry flashlights for the walk to the nearby pub due to limited lighting on the road.

The breakfasts here are an absolute treat! With generous portions and lovely options like an omelette loaded with spinach, cheese, and tomato, it really hit the spot after our hikes. The overall vibe is super welcoming, with hosts who genuinely care, making our stay all the more enjoyable.
If I had to nitpick, I'd say a microwave in the guest area would have been handy for those too tired to venture out for dinner. But honestly, everything else was top-notch – clean facilities and comfy rooms made for an almost perfect getaway!

Perfect Spot for Hikers
Had an awesome time here! The views from my room were stunning, and I loved the perfect poached eggs at breakfast. The hosts, Steve and Bronwyn, were super helpful with walk planning. The only thing was the road to the pub—it wasn’t great to walk on at night with no streetlights.

I had an amazing time soaking in the stunning views from my room and enjoyed the cozy breakfast every morning. The garden was a lovely spot to unwind, and the drying room was a lifesaver after hiking in the rain. The only small downside was the pillows could've been a bit more comfortable, but don't let that stop you from visiting! 🌿

excellent base for exploring brecon and the beacons
I felt very comfortable during my stay, especially with the generous breakfast options provided, and the location is perfect for walking the beacons right from the door, making it an ideal spot for lovers of city strolls and parks like me. Single travelers will appreciate the cozy ambience and helpful hosts who understand our needs perfectly, but it would be great if there was a microwave available for late-night snacks after a long day of exploring.
